Chasm widening between South Dakota, tribes

Racism is a way of life in South Dakota where the Legislature is a hate group.
State officials, starting July 1, intend to tap savings and pay for additional care such as mental health services that previously weren’t covered by South Dakota’s Medicaid program. Sen. Troy Heinert, D-Mission, said the changes potentially affect about 30 percent of tribal members who live in South Dakota. “To me as an Indian sitting here, it looks like we’re saving the state a bunch of money on our backs, again,” Heinert said.
