New poll: which South Dakota Democrat has the best chance to win statewide office?

In 2015, despite my protestations, President Barack Obama nominated Democrat Randy Seiler as US Attorney for the District of South Dakota.
Seiler doesn’t seem concerned about the apparent uphill fight he might have as a Democrat seeking election in November to the attorney general’s office. “I’m not a politician,” he said Thursday. As other statewide offices, the nominees for the ballot for attorney general are chosen by the party conventions this summer.

Dark horse Seiler lives in Fort Pierre so he’s been doused in SDGOP kool-aid.

As US Attorney Seiler has done precious little to stem the exploitation of minor girls at the compound near Pringle where members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS Church) are holed up. It's expected the population will continue to increase there as sect followers leave a Utah polygamous town after electing its first non-FLDS mayor.

It's the view of The Dakota Progressive that since the earth haters will nominate extremist nutcase and FLDS dupe, Lance Russell as their candidate, Seiler has a better chance of winning statewide office than any other announced Democrat.
