Drinking Liberally: Kristi Noem is a creature of DC

Since South Dakota relies heavily on property taxes and sales taxes, many middle-income taxpayers here will pay substantially more in taxes if Kristi and the Republicans have their way and the deductions for state and local taxes are eliminated in a combined Senate and House tax bill. Our Representative, Kristi Noem, sits on the House Ways and Means Committee, the Committee responsible for this Republican Tax Bill. She helped write it and has the ability to directly affect it. If you have problems with the Tax Bill, I encourage you to voice them early and often to Kristi. Don't put up with double talk, she wrote the bill.
