District 30 Dems hopeful for wins

Democrats meeting in a town and county named for a war criminal are looking for a state senate win in November since the earth hater party will be splitting votes with a Libertarian nominee.
Custer County Democratic party chair Mary Boots said the crowd of about 90 represented a record attendance for the event over the past few years. Other speakers included District 30 House candidates Karen McGregor and Whitney Raver, and senate hopeful Ina Winter. Also in attendance were South Dakota Democratic Party chair Ann Tornberg of Beresford and Bill Walsh of Deadwood who serves as a Democratic national committeeman for South Dakota.
