Democratic former legislator, Kathy Tyler had this assessment of the Republican education task force:
Will something come of this taskforce to help our education system in South Dakota? The optimist in me says ‘yes,’ but there are a lot of people who have been around the block who aren’t putting a lot of faith in the process. To be a bit catty, it’s an election year next year, and any change would look good on campaign postcards.
