Water everywhere. The Upper Missouri Basin is still at bankfull, mosquitoes are on full suck. The
Big Hole River is full of trout and rafters, the
Wise River full of kayakers. The woods are drying out fast.
Elkhorn Hot Springs is a hidden jewel.
Crystal Park gave up an amethyst.

Every year, swallows nest in the exhaust vent from the downstairs bathroom; i tape the fan switch so nobody blows them out. Sitting on the back porch just now swallows were eating ants that were coming into the house off the floor under my feet.
