President mulling South Dakota's disaster request; Bush to face arrest in Canada

The GOP members of South Dakota's congressional delegation are obstructing raising the country's debt ceiling. Rep. Krusti Noem is stubbornly obfuscating President Obama's community organization efforts while flooding inundates ill-conceived, stupidly designed, haphazard developments on the Missouri River.

One of their own, state senator Dan Lederman, of Dakota Dunes was on Bill Janklow's idea of public radio yesterday defending his decision to build in a floodway. Lederman was recently fingered for bringing anti-government speakers to his infamous red state. What hypocrites! So what? Sue somebody, Republicans. What a bunch of saps.

The President has signed the state's declaration:

W. Craig Fugate, Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security, named Mark A. Neveau as the Federal Coordinating Officer for Federal recovery operations in the affected area. FEMA said additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the State and warranted by the results of further damage assessments.
Why should the President even consider Governor Daugaard's plea? The tribes are separate governments; of course, they are eligible and tribal chairs will send requests. South Dakota will vote for whatever bonehead the GOP nominates as it is a broken red state and there is nothing to save in the chemical toilet.

Montana's pathologically sotted At-large Representative Republican Dennybriated Rehberg found time between drinks to vote against the President. Here is an excerpt from CNN at Kalispell's KAJ18:

"Over the last four years, Washington has borrowed trillions of dollars to promote the urban priorities of big city interest groups while ignoring the simple but vital needs of Montana's working families. The people of Montana are serious about getting federal spending under control, and so am I. Our children deserve a future free of crushing debt and taxes," the Republican said in a statement.
Rehberg owns multiple Montana properties likely eligible for disaster assistance.

Canadian activists are vowing to arrest alleged war criminal George W. Bush if he visits in October. From GRTV:
WeAreChangeVancouver has just released new video of Surrey BC Mayor Diane Watts's Office being notified by Peace Activists of her impending complicity in harboring/inviting a credibly accused and self admitted torturer and war criminal to Surrey BC this October.
