Sutton agrees with Wismer: South Dakota in 'dark ages'

In an interview with KSFY teevee Democratic hopeful for South Dakota governor, Billie Sutton, has agreed with a fellow state legislator.

But in February he watched the Republican controlled legislature repeal voter approved Initiated Measure 22, which was supposed to bring more transparency to state government. "We have to get out of the dark ages as it relates to transparency and accountability in government."

Just the other day former South Dakota Democratic gubernatorial nominee Rep. Susan Wismer acknowledged the risk of earth haters holding supermajorities in the Legislature and warned the state is living in the "dark ages."
