Rich women have full reproductive freedom while women at middle and lower income levels experience chilling effects on their rights. South Dakota’s repeated attempts to restrict access to medical care are not only mean-spirited, they're discriminatory anti-choice extremism.
But, applaud the nutball Republican efforts diverting attention from the party’s culture of corruption where murders and their covers up are commonplace by clogging the legislative session with christianic religionist argle-bargle.

Gov. Dennis Daugaard signed into law Thursday a bill that would ban non-emergency abortions in South Dakota after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Opponents including representatives from the American Civil Liberties Union and reproductive rights groups have said the measure is unconstitutional as it bans abortions before the point of viability. They also said the measure could create health problems for some pregnant women. "The passage of this bill marks an unfortunate day for women in South Dakota: our state government does not trust us to make decisions about what's best for our families," Susan Kroger, executive director of NARAL-Pro-Choice South Dakota said. "I hope the voters remember these legislative priorities in the ballot box." The state's only clinic that offers elective abortions performs the procedures only up until 14 weeks of pregnancy.
