Great pics! Especially good close-up of the coyote. I find I can't hand hold the cam with my long lens at slower than 1/320th of a second. I'm usually too lazy or too late to use the tripod. Good luck with that new lens!
Always a trade-off in capturing light! I also forgot to say that I tend to use manual focus on moon shots to get a sharper image. Those coyotes like chicken dinners...

Thanks, girl! The coyotes drive the dogs crazy and keep trying to get the chickens. Will try faster speed: was at 1/200th.
