PR claims another South Dakota journalist

Tony Mangan's dad and this blogger attended St. Mary's in Elkton fifty years ago. Tim and his sister, my classmate, lived across the street from school.

Tony is has taken a position in public relations with state law enforcement after seventeen years reporting the news for KCCR in Pierre.

Journalism is a noble profession but not an easy one. Not all people are happy to have a reporter tell stories that may put that person in a negative light. But to do this job well, and I hope I have, one must report the good and the bad. [Mangan]
