Our Lady of the Arroyo and her man spent Thursday in southwest Colorado and made a 650 mile loop going over the Continental Divide twice—once north of Cuba and again south of Gunnison. This little trip was delayed until the fence was good enough to hold the horses for 24 hours and it worked! Fall colors were spectacular but the 16 hour drive took a toll on shoulders and hips as unanticipated road construction delays south of Ouray and west of Gunnison heaped nearly two hours onto our schedule.

Molas Pass
Mount Sneffels from Ridgway
