SD governor's son can't stand the heat

Reggie Rhoden is the son of the interim governor and an Earth hater who penned a comment at the South Dakotans Against Chem Trails group page but after withering pushback he altered his entire screed then deleted his pile. The Rhodens won't sign an anti-chemtrails pledge because it would jeopardize bringing the B-21, a massive polluter, to Ellsworth Air Force Base near Rapid City. 

Folks, the military has been doing this stuff since World War II. My dad was in the US Air Force with a Top Secret clearance and didn't like using chemicals on the farm because he knew how they were developed. Geoengineering was conceived because the USAF proved albedo modification could work. 

Before exercises were suspended in the Powder River Training Complex and B-1s moved off Ellsworth they sprayed over four states an aerosol cocktail of silver iodide, lead iodide, aluminum oxide, barium, frozen carbon dioxide, common salt, water and soot from burning hazardous waste in pits concocted at Air Force bases including those at Ellsworth AFB near Rapid City. In the documents that give Ellsworth guidance in flaring off toxic materials and forever chemicals are the words, 'Waters of the United States' or WOTUS.

 

There's a saying in chemical engineering: "dilution is the solution to pollution" so that's why the military dumps its problems into the atmosphere. Ellsworth is home to a Superfund site so are Malmstrom AFB, Montana; Minot AFB, North Dakota and FE Warren AFB, Wyoming. All participated in the deployments over the Powder River Training Complex. 

General aviation, private pilots, climate watchers, even some Republican landowners and ranchers are concerned the elevated atmospheric hijinx exacerbated drought conditions that persist in a region where dried grasses increase fire danger even in January. 

Donald Trump created the Space Force to aid in albedo modification now the agency is looking at commercializing satellite services and capabilities that could be leveraged for broader applications, including those related to Elon Musk's dream for space-based geoengineering. 

Seeding a thunderstorm might have been responsible for the 1972 Black Hills-wide flood that killed hundreds in Rapid City during weather modification experiments. Today, most experts believe cloud seeding is about 15% effective over mountains in increasing snowfall but virtually futile over flat land.  

Despite being mostly water vapor contrails also contain unburned hydrocarbons and other organic compounds that fall as pollutants but the sheer volume of air travel produces the de facto result of albedo modification intentional or not.
